D-45 Modern Deluxe Guitar

The Modern Deluxe series is the culmination of almost 190 years of experience, history and innovation. Best tonewoods and the finest tradition in craftsmanship meet such modern materials and technologies as a titanium truss rod, “liquid metal” bridge pins a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate and a Vintage Tone System (VTS) treated top and bracings. To set these guitars apart from the rest visually, these guitars feature a 30s style mother of pearl script logo, gold frets and flamed maple bindings. The new, non-symmetrical Vintage Deluxe neck profile makes this guitar so comfortable, you can play it all day and the amazing sound will make you want to do just that.

The luxury-version of the flagship! Beautifully grained east Indian rosewood back and sides, a VTS-treated spruce top, as well as the carbon fiber bridge plate and the Liquid Metal bridge pins are the technical starting point of this dream guitar. But it’s the full abalone purfling along the edges of the top, back and sides, as well as the matching soundhole purfling that make this guitar a D-45. The bindings along the body, neck and headstock are, as is to be expected from a Modern Deluxe guitar, made of flamed maple. The headstock is graced by the same, intricate inlay that is featured on all 40+ models of the Modern deluxe series. To match this playful design, the usual hexagonal fret board inlays are replaced by a more detailed and delicate design.
